This is how it works

Calibreath is a unique therapeutic air purifier that improves your focus and wellbeing, and strengthens your immune system. Calibreath can be used to create a harmonic and healthy environment, but also as therapy.
Shinrin-Yoku is a Japanese term that means “to take in the forest atmosphere with all the senses,” or more literally, “forest bathing”. Calibreath spreads essential and totally natural plant extracts that are collected from the world’s leading botanical gardens. So using Calibreath, you can “forest bathe” anywhere and inhale the revitalising power of several trees and a selection of nature’s healthiest herbs.

Tests have shown that 10 minutes of breathing the air from Calibreath strengthens the immune system, increases blood circulation and relaxes the muscles. The tests also showed increased alpha and theta wave activity in the brain, which manifests in reduced stress levels and better mental wellbeing. Having Calibreath around you, such as in the bedroom or office, creates an environment that allows the body to benefit from all of these advantages. And therapy sessions can give even better effects and quicker results. A therapy session involves holding the Calibreath device just under the chin (about 5cm) and taking deep breaths, in through the nose and out through the mouth, for 10 minutes. This should ideally be done on a daily basis, both morning and night.

Calibreath uses a similar technique to a compressor, where a number of wing-shaped rotating blades increase the flow of air and compress it – what’s known as axial flow. It’s called axial flow because air passes through an electric motor in a parallel direction to the axle of the motor. This technology is used in Calibreath, where as the air moves through the device’s compressor, more energy and compression are added to the air. Once the air has passed the last stage of compression in the axial flow, it passes on to a centrifugal compression stage. The air is then thrusted outwards, away from the core and towards the chamber, where the botanical essential oils are located.

Calibreath also contains a printed circuit board (PCB) that works like an electronic sensor and receives signals, converting them into electronic current and voltage signals. The AC current frequency is the number of cycles per second in an AC sine wave. Frequency is the speed at which current changes direction per second. It’s measured in hertz (Hz), an international unit whereby 1 Hz is equal to 1 cycle per second. Everything around us vibrates at a certain frequency. This is the case as much for the sound of a mobile phone as for different scents. Frequencies interact with one another and harmonise. If you can make something vibrate, that vibration can transfer to something else. What happens in a Calibreath is that the frequency of every tree, herb and flower is uploaded to the the device’s PCB. The sensor then sends these loaded frequencies into the chamber, where the botanical essential oils are, at the same time as the aerodynamic axial flow is sent into the chamber. With these two processes taking place at the same time, they are mixed together and the botanical oils are propelled from the Calibreath.

The botanical oils have in turn been extracted via a unique and advanced technical system for extraction of solutions that allows the oils to be integrated into the Calibreath device. The oil’s molecules are very small – between micro and nano in size – and this means that when the compressors, together with the PCB, push out the particles in the air, they can quickly reach the brain via the olfactory system. Once the particles have travelled to the brain via the olfactory system, the body can benefit from all the positive effects of the air that the Calibreath system propels out.
